Cass
Meet Cass. Two years ago, I ventured into my first year of college. This girl ended up being one of my many, great neighbors.
She is one of the smiliest people I know. And whenever she comes to my dorm room for a small chat or homework break, it always ends up being at least an hour of us talking.
Her aesthetic is yellow raincoats, bright smiles, “Here Comes The Sun” by The Beatles and yellow & grey wall decor & throw pillows that say “You are my sunshine”.
But, with all the sunshine in her, she still has an edgy, cool grandma style.
Cass is always dancing.
She’s been a dancer for forever and currently kills it at our school’s hip hop dance group.
But she’ll also just start dancing wherever she feels like it, even when there’s no music to be heard.
This weekend, we took a road trip up to Michigan to visit our fellow Hope College friends.
Cass has a lot of favorite things, but the Jonas Brothers are are definitely on that list.
As a CD hoarder, I brought probably twenty albums for the trip. Selection is key. And even with all the options, we ended up jamming to the Jonas Brothers self-titled album four and a half times through.
Her laughter is as contagious as the common cold in a college dorm, but it’s definitely much more enjoyable.
